In addition to physical symptoms, emotional and body image issues may arise as well. For many cancer patients, touch is often associated with pain and discomfort. However, massage can be nurturing and soothing.

Special care is taken to provide the best possible treatment for you. Because there are many types of cancer and many factors vary with each type, each person’s privacy and confidentiality are honored. After a medical history is taken, I will work closely with your physician if you are still in treatment and will not interfere with your established treatment. Your health and well-being are of utmost importance.
Understanding, compassion and expertise can speed the healing and recovery process as well as minimize and reduce post-mastectomy or breast surgery discomfort, removal of lymph fluid (reducing swelling), and assist in the reduction and improvement of scarring. Mastectomy Massage helps women in dealing with their feelings of grief and loss and assists in the patients' overall healing and the recovery process.

Massage Sessions are 30-60 Minutes in duration. Your session is dependent on your particular needs, tolerance level. and may be composed of various treatments. Your treatment will be designed for your specific physical problems and limitations.

Full-body lighter massage provides relief of minor body aches and pains, stimulates the circulatory system, detoxifies the body, relieves stress and tension, provides relaxation, a mini-mental and emotional vacation, and a sense of well-being. Therapeutic/Deep Tissue/Trigger Point and Sports Massage
Massage Therapy for sore or injured muscles and soft tissue, or joints that require concentrated deep pressure strokes to unlock and improve range of motion. Excellent for sports and fitness enthusiasts, rehabilitation from auto accident injuries, work injuries, and post-surgery rehabilitation. Aids in removing toxins and wastes from congested or contracted muscles and freeing restrictions. Vigorous strokes including kneading, compression, friction, myofascial release, deep tissue and trigger point therapy, and isolated stretching techniques are applied to troubling areas. Topical muscle penetrating creams, lotions, and gels may be used to aid in pain relief. A doctor's approval may be required.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Lymphatic Massage) (MLD) is a gentle, light-touch, noninvasive technique using repetitive skin stretching movements in a specific direction to help accelerate the flow of lymphatic fluid to appropriate lymph node groups. It mimics the action of the lymphatic system which encourages the body to process and remove stagnant and excess fluids causing swelling and inflammation in the body and face while removing toxins and wastes from the body. This process helps to decrease congestion within the tissues, improves bruising and swelling, chronic tissue swelling, and is excellent for pre/post-surgery, lymphedema, cancer other fluid retaining conditions affecting various parts of the body. Medical Massage - Worker's Compensation, Auto Accident and Veterans - Fees are paid by your Worker's Compensation, Auto or VA Insurance provider for injuries related to work or automobile accidents. Medical Massage is provided which may include the use of heat and cold therapies and other techniques to facilitate rehabilitation and recovery. Request a prescription from your Worker's Comp or accident treating doctor today! We do not accept private insurance at this time, however we do offer discounted services for the uninsured.
Pregnancy Massage
Gentle massage designed for mom-to-be with special support and caution. Soothing pillows and bolsters are used to provide maximum comfort. Emphasis on the back, hips, legs, and areas affected by pregnancy to reduce back pain, and swelling, improve circulation, reduce tension, headaches, stress, and anxiety, promote relaxation and sleep and post-partum healing, and more! Seated/Chair Massage
Massage in a specially designed chair with a focus on the head, neck, back, shoulders -- areas mostly affected by stress! Arms and legs may also be addressed. Heated wrap provided around neck and shoulders for extra comfort and better results! Excellent for busy professionals and lunch hour relief!

Cupping Massage Therapy
Suction cups are placed in areas of complaint, where there is pain and restrictions. By creating suction and negative pressure, massage cupping is used to drain excess fluids and toxins; stimulate the peripheral nervous system; bring blood flow to areas of the muscle and skin where needed, help loosen adhesions and release myofascial tightness and stubborn knots in soft tissue/muscles.
